8 Bit Evolution will accept a return requested up to 48 hours from the time of arrival for a broken item. We will accept a return for game failure (i.e. no longer saving, data corrupted, etc) up to 90 days from the time of arrival. In both cases the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
If an address is entered incorrectly on an order, thus causing the item to ship to the wrong location, 8 Bit Evolution is not responsible for replacing the item. If the item can be retrieved, the customer is responsible for the additional cost of re-sending the item or, if the customer chooses a refund instead, they will receive the cost of the item minus the cost of shipping. If tracking information indicates an item is lost 8 Bit Evolution will send a replacement at no extra cost to the customer. If tracking information indicates an item has been delivered, 8 Bit Evolution is not responsible if the package can not be located by the customer. We recommend contacting your local post office for more information.
Returns and replacements are NOT available on limited release or custom items. All sales for clearance or “as-is” merchandise are final.
We typically ship via the United States Postal Service except for larger wholesale orders. For wholesale please contact email@example.com. Orders typically arrive in about a week for continental United States addresses or two weeks for international orders, Alaska, or Hawaii, unless detained by customs for an additional period. We have no control over if or how long customs detains packages.
All return requests must first be approved by an 8 Bit Evolution representative via firstname.lastname@example.org or the website contact form found here. If a return is requested and approved, the item will only be replaced or refunded upon arrival. Customers are required to receive a tracking number from the postal service they ship with when returning an item to ensure the return arrived safely. Returns lost in transit are not the responsbility of 8 Bit Evolution and will not be refunded or replaced. Similarly, returns will not be refunded or replaced if a customer indicates the item should have arrived but was not received and no tracking number can be provided to prove the location of the return.
All orders are shipped within 7 days Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm EST. Delays up to 7 additional days can be expected during holiday seasons and convention weekends. If you need to know if an item will ship by a specific date email us at email@example.com for more precise wait times.
We use USPS to ship orders except when the weight exceeds limitations. Heavier orders are shipped using Fedex.
If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.
The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to.
If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.
